Applicable to Air Travel Tickets only: No immediate payment required for only ticket reservation. When you fill out reservation form, we will send you a quotation. If you agree, we will book and email you the itinerary, which will indicate the cost of ticket(s) plus applicable taxes if any and the deadline by which to make payment. For those who cannot pay all at once, we have flexible lay-away plan programs. Sorry, no refund with lay-away, since we will pre-purchase your ticket(s). Any change made on an issued ticket is subject to airline charges plus any applicable airline penalties, if any.
Applicable to Tour Reservations: A reservation is made upon receipt of a deposit $275 per person which must reach us within 14 days from the date of booking. Written confirmation is issued only upon receipt of your deposit.
Final Payment: Full and final payment is due 21 days prior to the date of departure. If a booking is made within the 21 days of the departure date, full payment is due immediately. Flexible installment payment plans are available, but final payment is due 21 days prior to the date of departure.
Revision Fee: Once a reservation is under deposit, any subsequent changes are subjected to a $25 revision fee per person. Changes to Airline tickets already issued are subject to the rules and restrictions set by the individual carrier and may be subject to additional charges and penalties.
Cancellation Fees: If you Cancel: You have the right to cancel a reservation; but if you do, all cancellation request must be submitted to Africa Tours and Travel in writing, either by fax or mail, and make sure it has been received. All cancellation will be subject to a $75 fee per person (charges to offset the cost handling the reservation), The fee will be charged regardless of the reasons for the cancellation, plus any additional airlines applicable penalties.

If we cancel: We reserve the right to withdraw and/or cancel a specific departure date or whole tour series due to lack of participation, or for reason beyond our control, i.e. government restrictions, natural disaster, acts of war, acts of God, or similar. If we are sure any such unlikely event should occur, we will either offer an alternative date/tour or will cancel the tour outright. The limit of our liability to you will be refund of all monies received including any cancellation penalties. However, we will not be liable for costs incurred by you not paid through us, such as visa, and passport costs, items of personal nature, domestic transportation either by ground or air etc., nor will we be liable for any psychological damages, traumas, stress, disappointment, personal or financial loss and/or similar resulting from our changes of departure date or cancellation of a tour.
Travel Documents: Personal travel documents such as a current passport and the necessary visas are the sole responsibility of the passenger. A visa is required for traveling to most countries. Please contact the appropriate consulate. Africa tours & travel cannot and will not be responsible for any delay, damages, and/or loss, including missed portion of a tour program which are a result of passenger not having proper documents.
Responsibility: Africa Tours and travel is a tour operator. In designing the tour features, we act only as agents for airline, hotel, transport companies, and other vendors and supplies providing the services outlined. These vendors are independent contractors and are not agents or employees of Africa Tours and Travel. In utilizing the services of the suppliers, you agree that you will not hold Africa tours and travel liable for any accidents, losses, injuries, or damages to you to those traveling with you in connection with any accommodations, transportation, or other services resulting directly or indirectly from any occurrence or condition beyond our control, including vehicle defects, breakdown in equipment, strikes, theft, delay, riot, acts of war or God, or cancellation or changes in itinerary or schedule, etc. All travel documents as well as compliance with customs regulations are the sole responsibility of the passenger.
